Independently Researched And Developed, Single Point Mooring Rope Advances into Deep Blue!

Recently, four 55m ring single point mooring lines (SPM ROPE) independently developed and manufactured by Xinglun rope were successfully delivered to an offshore Oil platform in Southeast Asia, which will provide the most solid security guarantee for oil and gas handling. At the same time, it also marks a solid step forward for Xinglun Rope in the field of offshore engineering ropes.

Xinglun rope is upgraded in structure on the basis of double braided rope, with high-strength nylon multifilament as the inner core and high wear resistance polyester as the sheath. The eye rings at both ends are equipped with metal thimbles, and the outer layer of the rope around the thimble is coated with acid and alkali resistance, corrosion resistance, and high wear resistance. To adapt to the working environment of a single point mooring line, floating pipes are installed on the cable and three strands of polypropylene rope are tied and fixed on both sides.

The manufacturing of single point mooring ropes for Xinglun Rope complies with ISO and OCIMF standards, and there are two types: circular and single type, which can be customized according to customer needs. Compared with traditional structure ropes, they have higher strength, better wear resistance, and longer service life.

With the development of offshore oil and gas exploration, single point mooring systems are widely used. It is suitable for a wide range of water depths, can moor ultra large FPSOs, and can also face work in harsh sea areas.
