On September 15th, personnel from the Technology & Safety Department and Sales Department of Xinglun Rope went to Lanshan Port to conduct a comprehensive inspection of the rope usage of the Winning Zephyr.
The rope product currently in use on the WINNING ZEPHYR is the double-braided CHNFLEX® PLUS. The Technology & safety department of Xinglun Rope will first inquire about the use environment, use conditions, and length of use of the rope, and have a preliminary understanding of the basics of the rope, use conditions, and then evaluate the degree of abrasion where rope friction is frequent, test and rigorously measure, and finally conduct a comprehensive evaluation of the entire rope. The result shows that the rope’s appearance, morphology, strength and other properties remain good, and are able to continue using.
Based on the inspection work of the rope products of the Winning Zephyr ore carrier, the Technology & Safety Department of Xinglun Rope and Rope provided regular maintenance and maintenance recommendations for the wear and tear of the rope of the Winning Zephyr ore carrier.
